ruby-benchmark-suite software package provides enhancements to the standard library benchmark.rb, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-benchmark-suite
ruby-benchmark-suite is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-benchmark-suite package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-benchmark-suite *
You will get with ruby-benchmark-suite package name, version, architecture and description in a table
